Daniel Pouzet & Fred Frety
Fred trained at ENSCI, then with Marc Berthier at eliumstudio in Paris and Werner Aisslinger in Berlin. In 2004, Fred was talent-spotted by Jean-Marie Massaud and invited to join his team. Since 2008, Fred has been design manager at Massaud’s studio.
In the meantime, he has also set up a studio of his own. Atelier Frety designs are created by a distinctive process based on three principles:
- Contemplation
- Questioning
- Suggestion
Daniel Pouzet seeks cultural diversity in all artistic fields, flowing between design, architecture, interior design, and artistic installations. His projects are spread around the world between Asia, Africa, Europe, United States, and Latin America.
Projects, as varied as a hotel resort in the Philippines or vegetal clouds at the Museum of Natural Sciences «Field Museum» in Chicago, villas in Greece and Ibiza or children’s shoes and books, a Buddhist Monastery or giant bird nest as hotel rooms, an ecological house in Mexico or projects of outdoor furniture and industrial design up to a football stadium, all these projects, represent a search for contextual answers with soul, artistic sensitivity, a dialogue between the local and creativity going beyond conventional limits in favor of surprise, lightness, and quality of living spaces.
